What We Do…
Rescuing cats
Our cats come from everywhere. Many are dumped or abandoned by humans, especially with Post COVID travel, and the financial burden many face at the moment. Often street cats are captured or lured into carriers so we can take them in for vet work and socialisation. This helps reduce the number of colony cats in a community. These colonies exist because humans weren’t responsible in desexing their pets and let them roam. These cats have never known love, and have never set foot in a house before. By the time we rehome them, they are approachable and friendly and ready to be a pet.
Foster CAre
We provide a safe and playful environment for these scared and anxious cats and kittens. Within a few days, they are coming out of their shell, and the displays of trust that show are so rewarding. Foster Care is about not just food and shelter, but showing love and affection too.
vet work
For each cat or kitten that comes into our foster care, all expenses are personally covered by the rescue. This usually includes consultation fees, microchipping, flea and worm treatment, vaccinations, desexing, not to mention the food and cat litter ongoing. Every donation we receive goes a long way in helping!
social media advertising
Without advertising, our rescues have little chance of finding a home. My wonderful group of volunteers help me with advertising adoptions on Facebook and Instagram. They also help me with cat food donation requests from our local community. Every bit of exposure is a plus!
